Job Description

Teledyne Relays (a business unit of Teledyne Reynolds, Inc.), is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Relays, Solid State Relays, Power Controllers, RF COAX Switches and RF Matrix switching systems. The primary manufacturing facilities are located in the United States. We are a vertically orientated manufacturing and design company with major operations in Southern California.

  • Follow procedures on SS Relays

  • Maintain a labor book/log, prepares reports

  • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations

  • Manual and Automatic Testing on Relays

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested, ability to use equipment for a variety of applications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED), technical training/certification preferred

  • 1-2 years of previous/related experience in assembly

  • Must have good eye-hand coordination to use small hand tools

  • Must have good working knowledge of computers, and good knowledge of basic math

  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out written/oral/diagram form instructions and be able to deal with problems with concrete variables

  • Must be able to read and interpret specifications and drawings

  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to transition as needed to stand/walk/climb or balance/stoop, bend, kneel or crouch/talk or hear; will frequently use hands to finger to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs safely

  • VISION Requirements: must be able to distinguish and identify colors, have peripheral vision and 3D depth perception (vision with ability to judge distances and spatial relationships) with the ability to adjust focus throughout

  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and be in contact with moving mechanical equipment/parts; Ability to tolerate a moderate noise level environment (business office environment, light traffic)

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.

Salary Range:

$35,090.00-$46,970.000
