About Us:

Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Operating across three distinct product groups namely commercial, defence and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products.

The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe such as a multi axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and mutli axis CNC machining centres. Teledyne CML Composites has positioned itself, and is recognised as one of the worlds leading suppliers in composites and supports the business strategy of continuous growth and technical innovation.

About You:

You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team with over 100 employees onsite and 1,500+ across the UK. You will play a key role in supporting customer requirements and meeting business objectives.

No previous experience required as full training is provided for the mutual benefit of the applicant and the business in their development.

Job Purpose

As the successful applicant you will be supporting the Cleanroom ensuring the correct lay-up of pre-impregnated glass/carbon into mould tools. Working within an established team dextrinisic and detailed approach is essential.

Reporting to the Cleanroom Supervisor your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support the manufacture of Composite Aerospace parts within the Cleanroom, alongside skilled and experienced operators that will assist in your development.

  • Develop layup methodologies to enable greater flexibity across all Cleanroom products.

  • Work towards completion of all jobs within the specified time scale’s to enable progress through salary banding.

  • Comply to all Health & Safety measures within the Cleanroom and the wider organisation.

  • Ensure cleanliness, organisation and maintenance of own work area and wider Cleanroom area.

Training & Experience Requirements:

  • Manufacturing experience is desirable but not a requirement.
