Job Description

Job Summary:

To be the focal in performing mechanical assembly on modules, subassemblies and final unit assembly with theuse of various hand tools, calipers and microscope.

Detailed Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must use hands constantly.

Minor wire crimping, harnessing, and component hand soldering.

  • Perform precise measurements and various complex electronic assembly operations such as building harness, building Circuit Card Assembly (CCA).

  • Determines or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing various complex electronic assembly operations.

  • Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Records information on production records, logs and other report forms.

  • Reworks and repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.

  • Must be able to interpret drawings and must be familiar with hand tools.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); At least a minimum of 5 years’ of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office Application: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Able to perform fine-pitch soldering is required.

  • Must have working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001.

  • Must be able to read blueprints, use hands constantly, operate measuring devices, gauges and torque tools.

Other Qualifications

  • Must be able to work extended hours (OT) if workload requires it. May be asked to work weekends and Holidays.

  • This position requires that all work must be worked between company core hours of 6:30am – 3:00pm.

Salary Range:

$49,830.00-$66,550.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
