Job Description

Teledyne Monitor Labs, a leading supplier of air measurement instrumentation and software is seeking an individual to join our Service Team.​ The individual will be expected to provide quality service to meet or exceed customer commitments, resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction. Requirements include installation, maintenance, repairs, and modifications of company equipment. Conduct technical analysis of products and implement modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific engineering instructions to meet customer expectations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solution. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers and company representatives.

  

Job Description

  

Provide on-site service, and installation of instrumentation, as related to C ontinuous E mission M onitoring S ystems. Conduct formal classroom training with Power Point presentations. CEMS experience a plus, but not a requirement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, diagnose performance issues, repair, and preventative maintenance.

  • Travel frequently, via airline or rental car, to locations around the country.

  • Able to work outdoors on elevated platforms throughout the year.

  • The physical ability to climb ladders, and stairs to reach stack platforms. Climbs could be as little as 20’ to 150’.

  • The ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining Teledyne Ethical standards.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Competent with Microsoft Office Products.

  • Provide technical support to customers via telephone.

  • Training to customers.

  • Depot Repair

  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management.

*Education and/or Experience                                                  *

Associate degree in engineering, technology or related scientific study. Five to ten years related field experience troubleshooting/repairing analytical equipment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Other Requirements

  • Ability to be analytical, solve problems, and provide technical support.  

  • Experience with customer service.

  • Work well with other team members.

  • Professional written and oral communication skills

  • Willing to travel overnight up to 75% of the normal work week.

Salary Range:

$49,830.00-$66,550.000
