Job Description

Your Contribution

Raymarine UK Ltd are looking for an experienced Software Test Architect to grow existing, and develop new automated test processes and tools which will reduce manual test overheads, increase test coverage and improve overall product quality. You will be based in our Fareham site in the UK, working closely with the software development and test teams to be a key contributor to the success of releasing products on time.

Using your knowledge of industry best practice software test automation processes and tools, you will be responsible for embedding these within our verification and validation processes.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the software test process across all development & test teams

  • Provide training & support for best practice process & tools for test automation.

  • Support development teams with creation & maintenance of functional emulators

  • Triage failing automated tests

  • Fix bugs in failed automation code

  • Ensure links to library functions are maintained

  • Maintain test automation infrastructure

  • Provide coverage & status reports for executed software tests

To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have:

  • A high skill level in a software test environment

  • Significant experience with test automation tools & environments

  • Experience with emerging automation methods

  • Relevant scripting skills eg: Python

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Solution orientation and resourcefulness

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
