Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Expediting, materials handling and inventory

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create requisitions to purchase parts, service equipment and department supplies.

  • Support needs of equipment maintenance and facilities as required.

  • Speak with vendors for price quotes on parts and service contracts as needed.

  • Add parts to inventory system and create new locations as needed.

  • Track and maintain inventory records for spare parts, process gases and maintenance fluids.

  • Daily checks of process gases, change cylinders as needed and order replacement quantities.

  • Pack equipment parts for service repairs.

  • Forklift for large items, pallets, and multi-cylinder gas packs.

  • Responsible for following proper industry safety procedures when working with high pressure gases, hazardous gases.

  • Must maintain personal and professional standards of conduct.

Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to use intermediate math skills to analyze data.

  • Ability and willingness to follow strict written operational guidelines.

  • Excellent customer interface skills are required.

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.

  • May require bending/stooping.

  • May require the use of personal protection equipment including respirator use and required fit test when appropriate.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization.

  • Knowledge of commonly used business and technical software

Desired Background:

  • Prior experience working with SAP and/or Ivalua

  • Experience in material handling involving ordering supplies, equipment, and shipment of items for repair.

  • Experience in inventory control and organization.

  • Inventory and handling industrial gases including daily checks, gas cylinder changes.

  • Prior forklift experience

  • Minimum Education of High School Diploma required.

  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range:

$49,830.00-$66,550.000
