Job Description

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of standardized tasks in support of the chemists in an analytical laboratory. Follows the specific instructions of a laboratory lead, production manager, or higher-level manager. Perform test on atmospheric samples for environmental contaminants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

  • Performs standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations.

  • Conducts a variety of tests using established methods.

  • Extracts data from various prescribed, but not standardized sources, and prepares test reports covering results of the tests conducted.

  • May service or repair simple instruments or maintain equipment.

  • Develop, revise, review, and validate procedures and technical manuals.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Requires a high school diploma and some degree of vocational or technical training and a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.

Other Qualifications

  • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.

  • Ability to travel (domestically/internationally) approximately +/-10_%
