Job Description

Responsible for the troubleshooting of manufacturing problems to maintain product flow. Analyzes the manufacturing and engineering data to improve quality and reduce cost. Develops manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time and cost. Influences new designs to improve quality, ease of manufacturability, and reduce cost.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train personnel on electronic troubleshooting, mechanical and computer skills.

  • Develop and execute cost cutting initiatives.

  • Plan and design manufacturing processes.

  • Coordinate new product introductions into the manufacturing process.

  • Develop and execute process improvements.

  • Obtain feedback from the RMA repair technician and QC to determine the scope of the issue and to help formulate optimal solutions

  • Create and review engineering changes.

  • Create and modify manufacturing and test software.

  • Analyze and report on manufacturing and engineering data.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.

Education and Experience

BS in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 5 years related experience

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Familiarity with Six Sigma principles and methodologies

Knowledge of computer programming

Experience working with databases and data manipulation

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiar with test engineering and SMT manufacturing

Requires understanding of detail circuit analysis

Must be able to troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level

Ability to develop manufacturing processes

Ability to work with RMAs

Knowledge of PC operating systems and PC system hardware components

NATURE OF WORK

Demonstrated ability to work under tight schedule constraints while maintaining very high quality.

Ability to multi-task between major projects and other efforts as required.

Quick and concise decision making capability

Excellent written and oral English communication skills

Self-driven individual, requiring minimal supervision.

Must be able to lift a maximum of 30 lbs.

Able to work with background manufacturing noise.

Salary Range:

$112,200.00-$150,260.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
