Job Description

Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the design, development, and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges. Our products and capabilities are sought after by civilian and military organizations spanning numerous global markets, including Aviation, Communication, Electronic Warfare (EW/ECM/CIED), Industrial, Missile/UAV, Radar, Satcom, Space, and Test and Measurement. The Program Manager plays a vital role in facilitating seamless communication and coordination between company personnel and clients. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient progression of tasks, from inception to delivery, while addressing any internal issues and aligning conflicting priorities within cross-functional teams. This role focuses on the successful delivery of both new and existing products to customers, ensuring adherence to timelines, revenue targets, and cost projections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, plan, schedule, and monitor the progress of projects from order receipt through shipment, engaging with internal departments and customers to address technical and scheduling concerns.

  • Develop comprehensive schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas, prioritizing tasks based on various factors and customer needs.

  • Administer procedures and budgets to meet contractual obligations, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management.

  • Assess project status and associated risks, devise recovery plans, and ensure alignment with customer expectations and business objectives.

  • Oversee adherence to established procedures to maintain high-quality standards and meet or exceed planned goals.

  • Collaborate with department supervisors to evaluate task statuses within projects and provide regular updates to customers and executive leadership.

  • Identify and address obstacles hindering goal achievement, offering solutions or seeking assistance as needed.

  • Present budgetary recommendations and actively engage with senior management on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and customers.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, potentially overseeing functional areas without direct reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in the RF/Aerospace industry.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Program or Project Management, with a preference for candidates with RF/Microwave industry familiarity.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Project, and general ERP/MRP software knowledge.

  • PMP certification is advantageous.

  • Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining/maintaining government security clearance.

Salary Range:

$93,500.00-$125,950.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
