Job Description

Job Overview

Teledyne Microwave Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector responsible for conducting comprehensive In-process, Final, and Receiving Inspections of TMS products using various standard inspection tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections on parts, sub-assemblies, and final products to ensure conformance to specifications.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of documentation and inspect products to ensure compliance with Teledyne Customer requirements.

  • Work with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing teams to report and address quality discrepancies.

  • Utilize a variety of measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and optical comparators.

  • Learn and execute a diverse range of product inspections.

  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and cross-train in various areas, including incoming, in-process, and final quality assurance.

  • Undertake additional duties, projects, and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 5-7 years of experience in quality inspection of PCBAs, microcircuits or other electronic components.

  • Proven experience in performing inspections according to MIL-STD-883, Methods 2010, 2017, 2032, or related criteria-based documents.

  • Familiarity with using low and high-power microscopes.

  • Hands-on experience with Nonconformance Report systems (e.g., Agile, Arena, TIPQA, TeamCenter) to create and update reports.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Production, Inventory, Engineering, and Planning.

  • Proficiency in standard MS Office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Inspector is a plus; J-STD-001 Space Addendum certification is highly preferred.

  • Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection Report (FAIR).

  • Experience in Supplier Source Inspection and willingness to travel locally.

  • Current or prior security clearance a plus (able to be renewed)

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge, and skills.

Salary Range:

$41,800.00-$55,880.000
