Job Description

Teledyne Technologies is seeking to add an experienced and personable SharePoint Administrator to add to our growing team. The SharePoint Administrator will be tasked with building and supporting production and non-production SharePoint server farms to maintain internet, intranet, and extranet websites. Tasks include the installation, configuration, deployment, security, operation, and the backup and Maintenance of SharePoint and related servers and software.

Experience with administration of SharePoint On-Premises and MS 365 is required. Experience with SharePoint related technologies like Nintex Workflows, Power Platform, and Sharegate is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment of load balanced SharePoint farms

  • Site administration such as permissions management, configuring web pages, configuring web parts, lists, views, libraries, Office client integration, content management, etc.

  • Develop and ensure adherence to SharePoint Governance standards and policies.

  • Maintain records of SharePoint farms, updates, maintenance, and activity.

  • Monitor and optimize SharePoint site performance, availability, and security.

  • Work closely with Infrastructure and Cloud teams to configure, maintain, and logically organize site content within the SharePoint platform.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Expert understanding of SharePoint Administration (On Premise and Online).

  • Strong Knowledge of Windows Server and IIS Administration.

  • PowerShell scripting skills.

  • Proven experience with and specific knowledge of the function and makeup of Microsoft SharePoint administration, including site and user management.

  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools including Sharegate and use of ULS Logs.

  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written.

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

  • Self-motivated and result oriented.

  • Ability to handle workload, multitask, and take responsibility for deliverables, as assigned.

  • Develop and implement SharePoint backup and recovery strategies, including regular backups, disaster recovery plans, and data retention policies.

Preferred Considerations:

  • 5+ years’ experience administrating the SharePoint platform.

  • 5+ years’ experience administrating windows server and IIS.

  • Ability to write SharePoint administration scripts in PowerShell.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams.

  • Knowledge of OneDrive, HTML, InfoPath, Sharegate, and Nintex Forms a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Azure, Azure AD, and AWS a plus.

Salary Range:

$93,500.00-$125,950.000
