Job Description

Assembler

Teledyne ETM is seeking an individual to join our production team as an Electronics Assembler in our Newark, CA office. You will be assembling a variety of electronic instruments and subsystems using appropriate work instructions.

Job Description:

• Assemble electronic sub-assemblies, modules, wire harnesses and systems.

• Follow work instructions, including production drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, photos, notes etc.

• Solder and touch-up PCBA

• Work as part of a team of production workers

• Participate in continuous improvement process

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years’ experience with electronic assembly work, soldering and following work diagrams and instructions

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to follow manufacturing instructions including wiring diagrams

• Able to use hand and light power tools

• Ability to safely lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis

• Attention to detail

• Ability to follow production schedules

• Basic computer skills – e-mail, work instructions

• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with AGILE

• Familiarity with IPC-610 standard

Salary Range:

$35,090.00-$46,970.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
