Job Description
Teledyne ETM, located in Newark, California, is seeking an individual to join our production team as a Potting and Encapsulation Technician. You will be assisting with the potting/encapsulation process including preparation of electronic assemblies (e.g., cleaning, and priming) and application of silicone compounds.
Job Description:
• Preparing electronic assemblies for the potting process, e.g., cleaning, priming, etc.
• Potting of assemblies following standard procedures and assembly-specific work instructions.
• Disassembly and reassembly of product.
• Visual inspection of assemblies.
• Assisting internal customers and the Production Team to build product.
• Ensuring adequate stock of potting material.
• Identifying and initiating continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
• 1-2 years’ experience with electronic assembly work, soldering and following work diagrams and instructions.
• Ability to follow manufacturing instructions including wiring diagrams.
• Able to use hand and light power tools.
• Ability to safely lift 20 pounds on a regular basis.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow production schedules.
• Basic computer skills – email, work instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Preferred Skills:
•Familiarity working with reactive adhesives and electrical assembly, and/or injection molding experience.
•Familiarity with AGILE or an equivalent document management system.

Salary Range:
$49,830.00-$66,550.000
