Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic marketer to assist with the development and strategic execution of marketing plans to help grow the Teledyne FLIR industrial business within Latin America. They will be responsible for assisting with the development and management of go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns that support the formal Strategic Marketing Plan.

The ability to use creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, gather market knowledge, set goals, build marketing campaigns, track metrics, prioritize, and report ROI are key to their success. They will coordinate with the local sales and business development teams, as well as manage agency support to ensure successful execution of go-to-market campaigns and reporting across all media and tactics. Some travel is required to tradeshows, external & internal meetings, and training sessions.

  • Communicate and coordinate with GTM and local sales team to generate accurate and differentiated core messaging and key visuals for new product launches and to identify new marketing opportunities

  • Maintain an expert level of the local market knowledge to assist the Marketing Director in the creation of regional strategic marketing plan and budget

  • Develop and lead local marketing plans and integrated campaigns to maximize marketing message reach while meeting marketing metrics and budget

  • Manage the content map and content development by the creative services team or outside agencies

  • Review and localize US marketing campaigns and content where applicable

  • Develop relationships with local trade media and PR to maximize earned media opportunities

  • Consistently uphold and maintain the TELEDYNE FLIR brand

  • Manage quarterly marketing budget to ensure ROI

  • Manage and coordinate local marketing events

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Learn key buyer behavior insights to better understand motives, priorities, and decision-making methods being considered during the customer's journey

  • Marketing plan and integrated campaign management and reporting

  • Manage and coordinate local events

  • Marketing budget management and reporting

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field

  • Minimum 3+ years in a marketing role working with technology products in B2B and B2C environments

  • Ability to compose compelling marketing messages for technical products and market-based solutions

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions

  • Experience in developing and managing marketing strategies and prioritizing numerous projects

  • A team player that can work with distributed, global team

  • Ability to work well under pressure with a positive attitude

  • Initiative to own and be accountable for both individual and team deliverables and goals

  • Experience managing marketing agencies

  • Results driven and detail oriented

  • Must be fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
