Job Description

Work in cross-functional teams through the entire product development cycle of state-of-the-art ground software for commercial aircraft. As a Systems Engineer, you will devise the test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans. You will develop automated test plans wherever possible and integrate with the CI/CD pipeline.

Detailed Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead transition of software products from development to production, and support entry into service and OEM/customer field issues.

Providing technical support such as troubleshooting customer issues, diagnosing problems, and providing solutions

Lead internal and participate in customer facing training and workshops.

Perform Technical Lead duties for small and medium sized projects.

Review, define, and refine product requirements into User Stories.

Lead Engineering Trade Studies and Design Reviews.

Prepare and support design and implementation of automated test procedures.

Support Program Manager in generating project schedule and cost.

Providing feedback to the Product Team as a part of continuous product improvement.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; At least 2-3 years’ of minimum experience in Systems Engineering or related field in the Avionics, Aircraft, and/or Aerospace Defense Industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities

Working experience in Python or other computer programming language Is highly desired.

Advanced knowledge with Mic r o s o ft Off ic e application tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, P r o j e ct, V i sio.

Experience designing automated solutions with Python is a key requirement.

Solid working knowledge with Desi g n P o r ti o n i n g , Di g ital C o mm un icat i o n , and S o f t ware S t r u ctures is a key requirement.

Familiarity with Agile frameworks.

Familiarity with AWS
